669 Russians were declared ‘terrorists’ and ‘extremists’ in the first three months of 2024

For example, 480 people were included in the register in January-March 2023, and 378 in 2022. At the same time, the list contains not only the names of people accused of preparing terrorist attacks, but also those found guilty of “discrediting the army” and belonging to the “extremist LGBT movement”.

There are 52 minors on the Russian Financial Service Monitoring list, the youngest being 14. Over the past ten years, the number of underage “terrorists and extremists” in the Russian Federation has increased 3.5 times, and 17 children have already been added to the list this year.
